ISPAS 2016 Workshop – Ireland

The Institute of Technology Carlow, Ireland is delighted to invite participants to attend the ISPAS (International Society of Performance Analysis of Sport) 2016 Workshop.

The Workshop will run on Tuesday and Wednesday March 22nd and 23rd at the IT Carlow Main Campus.

The workshop programme will feature a number of high profile keynote speakers from the worlds of international and Irish sport along with oral presentation sessions and poster sessions for novel research work covering all aspects of analysis of sport and performance.

The keynote sessions will give unique elite level insights into the use of performance analysis within specific sports teams.

The oral presentations will be grouped by theme/sport to facilitate networking, sharing of ideas and collaborations.

The poster sessions will involve short 3min/3 slide presentations across a range of sports and themes, allowing participants to showcase and discuss their research work with the performance analysis community.

Academic Presentations – Invited Abstracts

Abstracts to be submitted by the 1st February 2016, to mikehughes@data2win.org – papers on the day.
Discussions with eIJPAS and JHSE to publish either or both –  if neither journal is available we will produce a Book of Proceedings .
