First Team Performance Analyst

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a full-time First Team Analyst. Reporting to the Head of Performance Analysis, the role will provide support to Analysis Department and First Team coaching staff.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Support first team analysis department & coaching staff with daily workflow.
• Set-up and filming of first team training and all home fixtures.
• Build on and develop the review of daily training sessions, In-line with specific KPI’s as requested by the senior football staff to create a best practice library.
• Live coding of training and games using capture software – Angles
• Editing video in Angles and Coach Paint
• Lead with creation and delivery of detailed opposition set-play analysis. With the use of video, written and data to support findings.
• Show a high level of football knowledge and understanding to create relevant pre/post- match videos/ reports.
• Work closely with coaches to lead in creation of post-match/ debrief material
Requirements for the role:
• Masters in Performance Analysis (or relevant degree) (Desirable)
• Strong understanding of Championship football. (Essential)
• Experience of working in a performance analysis role, demonstrating an understanding of processes, time frames and schedules. (Essential)
• Previous experience leading in the process and delivery of set play & post-match analysis. (Essential)
• Experience using Angles/Coach pain. (Essential)
• Delivering support to coaches using both video and data analysis solutions. (Essential)
• Must hold a valid full UK driver’s licence. (Essential)
• IT skills to include a very high level of competence using Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint
skills. (Essential)
