Chris Carling – Lille FC
This week I got the pleasure of talking to Chris Carling, Sports Scientist with Lille FC. I have known of Chris for along time and have read most of his articles on match analysis in the FA magazine Insight Live as well as both his books on the subject. So it was a great pleasure to finally get the chance to talk to him.
I though it would be a good idea to get his perspective on Performance Analysis and what it is like in French Football. Chris has also published a lot of research papers on football and you will hear about a few of them in the interview. In a follow up post I will link to a lot more of the research he has done.
